I’m Ben Kolligs, a graduate student in Robotics Systems Development at Carnegie Mellon University. I am specializing in behavior planning and controls for robotic systems. During my studies so far, I have had the opportunity to work on a lunar rover, state-of-the-art computer vision algorithms, and planning and control algorithms underpinning modern mobile robots.

During the summer of 2021, I had the opportunity to intern as a Robotics Software Engineer at ProtoInnovations LLC. While there, I conducted research and development on autonomous behavior planning for planetary rovers for NASA.

Feel free to check out some of my work:

When I’m not working on robots, you can find me taking care of my plants, flying planes, or doing improv comedy.
